Welcome to the third installment of 'Meet The Chocolate Smiths'!

This week it's all about Taylor

Before The Chocolate Smiths, Taylor went college and did some volunteering! He studied Professional Cookery and Uniformed Public Services for 4 years - which is how he became such a foodie. He started as an apprentice with The Chocolate Smiths, and before he knew it he was a full time member of staff! He's an avid gamer and loves a good bit of anime!

How did you get into chocolate? After studying cookery at College I saw the job with The Chocolate Smiths advertised, so naturally, applied for it! Who wouldn't want to make chocolate? I went for the interview and was given the job on the same day! I finished my apprenticeship and am now officially a full time member of staff and have been for almost a year now!

What do you love about your job? The kitchen has a very friendly atmosphere and everyone is easy to work and get along with. We have a good laugh!

What is your best-loved Bizarre Bar and why? I like the Americana bar. It's got loads of peanut butter in it and has crunchy, salty pretzels through the chocolate.

What is your favourite memory since starting at The Chocolate Smiths? The funniest moment has to be moth incident!!! I went to open the batch file to write down the batch number of the chocolate bars that had just been made and there in the pages, somehow, was the biggest moth I had ever seen in my life! There was some unsavory language used, then Aaron let out a scream, all the while Amy was shouting 'What's wrong??? What's the matter??? What's happened??? ' . In the end Amy dealt with the moth. She was certainly the bravest of us all!

What is the one thing you want to achieve in life? I've always wanted to learn Japanese fluently and eventually emigrate to Japan! I just love everything about the place!

What is your motto? - 'Veni, Vidi, Vici' meaning 'I came, I saw, I conquered!'
